Cadie vs Sweepy
Sweepy turns your home into rooms and builds a cleaning schedule a household can share; Cadie takes everything you need to do this week, chores and the rest, and gives each thing a day.
Updated 5 November 2026 · Cadie is our app. We've tried to be fair to the others, and we say where Cadie falls short.
The short answer
Choose Sweepy if you clean as a household: rooms, a daily cleaning list, and chores shared between the people who live there.
Choose Cadie if you plan for yourself and the chores are only part of it: the gym, groceries, errands and calls all need a place in the same week. Cadie plans it from one list, and the planning is free.

How each one plans
Sweepy starts with your home. You add rooms, choose cleaning tasks and how often each needs doing, and Sweepy builds a list of what to clean each day. A household can share it, so the bathroom gets done without anyone keeping score in their head.
Cadie starts with your list. You write it the way it comes to you, like “laundry twice a week, bins out Tuesday night, gym three times, groceries at the weekend”, and Cadie gives each thing a day and a time that fits your work and sleep, spreading the load so no day piles up. Today then shows just today, and you stamp each thing done.
What you get for free
Cadie's free plan covers the whole week: planning from one list with the built-in planner, Today and Week, reminders, the morning note, the widget, to-dos and stamping, plus 1 AI-planned week to try. Pro adds Cadie's AI, her written weekly review and the full wardrobe.
Sweepy is free to download with a limited number of rooms and tasks; reviewers report that the automatic daily schedule and the rest of the full app come with the subscription.
Where Cadie falls short
- No shared household: Cadie plans one person's week on one phone. Housemates can each plan their own share in their own copy.
- No room-by-room view of what needs cleaning; Cadie thinks in days, not rooms.
- The built-in planner reads lists written in English; Cadie's AI understands every language the app speaks.
Can you use both?
Yes. A household can share Sweepy for the cleaning while each person plans the rest of their week in Cadie. Leave the cleaning out of Cadie's list so the two don't double up. See how the chore planner works.
